It's here! The "You're Stupid" phase has teamed up with the "Why?" phase. Let's not forget to mention their friends "Leave me alone" and the new one..."damnit". It goes something like this.
Mommy: "Stop playing and eat your dinner"
Roughneck Boy: "You're stupid, man"
(roughneck boy goes to timeout,crying)
Mommy: "Don't tell anyone they are stupid. That's not a nice word. You will go to timeout for saying that word"
Roughneck Boy: "I see that"
No lie, he really said that! So of course I burst out in laughter and totally ruin it. A few months shy of 3 years old now. Looks like the terrible two's aren't going to let up any time soon.
